The Jeff Christenbury STAR Scholarship Award is named for our first recipient, member, volunteer of the teen advisory board and now a member of the board of directors. The award is given annually to a graduating senior or junior high graduate who has demonstrated outstanding community service and volunteerism in their community, school and life.

Musical Theater

Crossroads raises the majority of our funds through our summer musical theater, STAR Camps and our annual musical fundraisers. We encourage families to work as a team by auditioning, painting, set building etc.  Adults mentor youth on community values and performance. All ages are encouraged to take part. Check out our website for upcoming programs or call us today.

Crossroads is proud to partner with several youth organizations such as our local school departments, Maine Children’s Cabinet, Communities for Children and Youth and Project Aware.  Visit our website for links to our partners and their mission to provide the following promises in their programs:

At Crossroads we believe in Giving our Youth Promise by:

America’s Promise

The FIVE PROMISES have a powerful impact. Young people with the Five Promises do better in school, are more likely to pursue higher education and enjoy better relationships with their peers and families. They are less likely to engage in risky behaviors, and are five to 10 times more likely to become productive citizens in their communities. Find out how you and your organization can support the five promises by visiting www.americaspromise.org.
